Field Day: Aloha Games

Not even a little rain could keep this awesome group of kinders from having a FABULOUS Field Day! A big thank you to Coach Hamlet for organizing  this fun-filled day for PHES!

Spring has Sprung!

During Miss Hatcher's Math Station time the kids had fun sorting some spring addition and subtraction problems. We also practiced addition by rolling dice and adding the numbers together. They just love the hands on math :)

100th Day!

We Are 100 Days Smarter!!!

The kiddos celebrated the 100th day of school by rotating through different stations in the Kindergarten classrooms. Each room had a different activity. We even had a special visitor....

Cup Stacking: The kids worked together and used 100 cups to build a tower.

Today in Miss Hatcher's class we practiced making shapes using marshmallows. The kids made squares, rectangles, triangles, and hexagons. We talked about how many sides each shape had and then we built them!

Elf on the Shelf

Elf Antics!

If you haven't already heard we have had some magic elves from the North Pole stop by the Kindergarten classrooms during the month of December. Each night the elves fly back to Santa and tell him about all the wonderful things we are doing in the classroom to learn! He also lets Santa know if we are making good choices or bad choices! The next day the elf comes back to the classroom and lands in a new spot...it is the kids job to find him each morning! Here are a few pictures of our elves in action!
